The Uber Sentence

The week of the sentence continued!  One skill all great writers have is the ability to craft incredibly long sentences.  They don't need to utilize this at all times, but the ability to do so is another great tool in the writers arsenal.  Long sentences can create a stream of consciousness  feel, it can build tension, or be used as a device to bring two seemingly unrelated topics together.

Creative Writing Prompt: Write a short story of about a page in length, and use only three sentences (or if you really want to challenge yourself, use only one).  Use all the punctuation you need, such as semicolons and dashes, in order for it to flow properly and make sense.  Long and coherent sentences are difficult to pull off, but rewarding both for the reader and the writer when successfully executed.
